Kentucky Audubon Council 2020 Scholarship Two scholarships are available for Audubon’s Hog Island Camp for individuals with a serious interest in ornithology, bird watching, environmental and nature studies, etc. The following three camp programs are available for the scholarship recipients to choose from: __ Better Birding, June 7-12 __ Field Ornithology, June 21-26 __ Sharing Nature: An Educator’s Week, July 12-17 Primary eligibility: A resident of Kentucky who has demonstrated curiosity and/or passion about birds, ornithology, bird watching, environmental and/or nature studies. Recipients will be expected to share his or her experiences with the nearest KY Audubon chapter by giving a presentation at one the chapter’s monthly club meetings. Amount of Award: Up to $1,145 which covers the total cost of a shared double or triple room for the camps listed above.
