Kentucky Audubon Council 2019 Scholarship One scholarship for Audubon’s Hog Island Camp for an individual with a serious interest in ornithology, bird watching, environmental and nature studies, etc. The following four camp programs are available for the scholarship recipient to choose from: __ Joy of Birding, June 2-7 __ Field Ornithology, June 16-21 __ Raptor Rapture, July 7-12 __ Sharing Nature: An Educator’s Week, July 14-19 Primary eligibility: A resident of Kentucky who has demonstrated curiosity and/or passion about birds, ornithology, bird watching, environmental and/or nature studies. Recipient will be expected to share his or her experiences with the nearest KY Audubon chapter by giving a presentation at one the chapter’s monthly club meetings. Amount of Award: Up to $1,145 which covers the total cost of a shared double or triple room for the camps listed above.
